Ieshia King-O’loughlin, MBA, Board Member

Ieshia has volunteered with H.E.R.O. since 2014, was elected to its board of directors in 2016 and is currently serving as the Secretary. She directs the organization’s education program and works with our partners in Guyana to organize the summer initiative providing resources and tutoring support to children performing below grade level in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Currently, Ieshia is an Audit Manager at Citibank N.A. and she has previously served as a Senior Tax Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC (PwC). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany and her Master of Business Administration in Taxation from Hofstra University. As a descendant of a Guyanese national, Ieshia has always been interested in serving and giving back to those in that community. Her desire to help others started early in her personal and professional development when she taught elementary and middle school children the basics of saving, budgeting and investing through a yearly program known as the Junior Achievement and PwC’s Earn Your Future program. She has furthered her interest by helping to reorganize and revamp HERO’s educational program and mission in Guyana and additionally supporting the work of our organization in areas relating to her substantial academic and professional expertise.
