HERO MISSION TRIP STUDENT APPLICATION

Health and Educational Relief Organization (HERO) Global, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to improve the health and well-being of communities in need through medical and educational outreach programs regardless of region, race, religion, or political ideology. Students have the opportunity to partner with HERO Global, Inc. on relief efforts by volunteering their services on the biannual medical mission trip to Guyana. This is the perfect opportunity for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare field on a global level, earn community service hours, and network with other healthcare professionals.

Dates: August 3-10, 2024

Primary Location: Linden, Guyana

Costs: There will be allocated costs for trip fees, which include airfare, housing, meals, and more. The costs will be provided, pending forthcoming rates. Please note that a $200 security deposit is required.

Due Dates: Applications and a $200 security deposit are due by May 17, 2024.

Recommended professions and/or interests (not required): Nursing, MD/ DO, PA, NP, PharmD, PT, OT, Biology Pre-Med, Chemistry Pre-Med, Public Health, Any Health Profession

Please note that a $200 security deposit is required to reserve your seat to attend, following the submission of the application. Further information, including an invoice for the security deposit, trip details, and confirmation will be sent to the email address provided within 2-5 business days. Once the application is submitted and the deposit is paid, your seat to attend will be confirmed via email. No interview is required. Payment plans for the remaining balance will be made available.
