Health and Educational Relief (H.E.R.O.) is a not-for-profit organization whose primary mission is to improve the health and well-being of communities in need through medical and educational outreach programs, regardless of region, race, religion, or political ideology. HERO is based in the United States and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. All of the directors and volunteers of HERO agree to honor the following principles:
HERO’s directors and volunteers undertake to respect their professional code of ethics and will maintain neutrality and independence from any partisan influence, including but not limited to influences of political, economic, or religious origins.
HERO will strive to build alliances with institutions, organizations, and individuals who share in our mission in order to promote our agenda.
HERO will strive to promote the importance of Primary Health Care services as the main determinant to increasing the accessibility of basic health care services to all.
HERO agrees to invest in the education of students from nursery to university by supplementing material and instructional needs.
